Butterfly Twirlers

I have always loved the image of colours under black crayons. With this piece which is 5x5, I had to create a small scene with butterflies and color for The Butterfly Loft in Encino, California. It was fun as I got to layer the paint thick and use a palette knife to make the lines. I then added the butterflies one by one with a small pair of tweezers.This is a fun project that all ages can create!
