Introduction: CNC Violin
Hello my name is Jonathan and I attend Sage Oak Charter School.
I will be showing you how to Model and CNC a Violin
Supplies
- Fusion 360
- CNC Router
- Drill Bits
- Materials (Wood, Acrylic,Metal ect.)
Step 1: Make the Base
- Press-"Insert SVG
- Insert your SVG
- Extrude the SVG
- Convert the Body to a Component
- Duplicate the Component
Step 2: Make the Outline
- Create a Sketch on a Violin Base
- Make an Offset of the Outside
- Finish the Sketch
- Extrude the Sketch
Step 3: Make the Connectors
- Hide the Violin Base's
- Make a Sketch on the Outline
- Make Rectangles on the Outline
- Make a Offset of the Rectangles
- Finish Sketch
- Move the Other Base on the Top
- Hide the Base
- Extrude the Pegs
- Extrude the Pegs Plus the Offset in Cut mode.
- Flip the Top and Lay it Flat.
Step 4: Set Up the CNC G-Code
- Go to the Manufacturing Tab
- Make a Setup
- Use Adaptive Clearing
- Pick Tool
- Press Ok
- Press Post Process
- Pick Your Machine
- Export File
Step 5: Conclusion
I was not able to make the model because I had no access to a CNC router
