Cardboard Clothing Hanger

In this instructable I'm going to show you how to create in a easy and inexpensive way a clothes hanger of an Zalando box.

I wanted to make something, so you can easily reuse a Zalando box. Zalando is a clothing company where you can buy clothes online. When people buy clothes, I want to make a combination with the box and something that we can use for clothing. I chose to make a clothes hanger from a packing box. We will not buy it because you can make it in a easy and creative way. I wanted to keep it simple by using tools. I want to let people see that everybody can do much with packing material. Most people throw it away, and don’t use it.

Step 1: What Do We Need ?

• Materials
• Clothes Box
• Cutter
• Cutting mat
• Lath
• Pencil
• Black marker
• Wood Glue

Step 2: Clothing Packing Box

You take a clothing packing box (Zalando)

Step 3: Open the Box

Take the box and cut it open. This should happen

slowly because otherwise you could damage the box.

Step 4: Cut It Out

You most print the PDF document and cut it out. This

file most be print on A3 paper. This is to have the correct dimensions.

After printing, you must cut it out.

You cut out the hanger. The cut part must be placed on

the box. Go with a black marker around the cut piece of the paper. Do this several times.

You take a lath and a cutting knife and you cut on the black lines. The hanger has no roundings because it is easier to cut out.

Step 5: Glue It Together

If you have cut everything, you can glue two pieces

together for extra strength. This is very important because some clothing pieces are quite heavy.

Step 6: How to Use It

By doing this, you have reuse cardboard in a creative and easy way.
