Cardstock Crown

I will be showing you how to construct a cardstock party crown

Supplies

Cardstock, Blank paper, Pencil, Ruler, Scissors, glue stick, stapler, tissue paper

Step 1: Draw a Stencil of a Triangle

Draw a triangle 5 inches wide 8 inches tall, and draw dotted lines 3/4ths of an inch in from each side.

Step 2: Cut Out the Stencil

Cut out the triangle and the tips of the triangle where the dotted line passes through.

Step 3: Cardstock

Cut out cardstock 11 inches tall and 29 inches wide

Step 4: Mark Out Cardstock

Mark stencil on the cardstock.

Step 5: Cut the Marked Cardstock

Cut along the lines made by the stencil.

Step 6: Join the Endpoints

Bend the crown until it overlaps itself, and measure it to fit your head.

Step 7: Staple the End Points Together

Staple the sides together.

Step 8: Decorate As You Like

You can put whatever design you'd like on the crown. I decorated it with accordion folded yellow tissue paper.

Step 9: Wear It!

The crown is finished!
