Introduction: Carved Stone Candle

This is a rustic looking candle that is easy to make. It is a perfect addition to any home.

Supplies

-A Small Rock

-Mallet

-Chisel

-Wax

-Wick

Step 1:

Place the rock on a towel or carve the rock outside to make clean up easier. For the next step you will need the rock, rinsed of so there is no dirt, chisel, and mallet.

Step 2:

Using the chisel, cut the shape you want and flatten both sides.

Step 3:

Chisel a hole in the center on one side. (It might be hard to see the hole, as it blends in.)

Step 4:

Melt the wax and pour it into the hole. While the wax is semi-liquid, place in the wick. If you want the stone to look more refined, sand and polish it. For a more rustic look, chisel of what you want and don't sand or polish it.
