Introduction: Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

Hi! So today I am going to show you a very simple chocolate chip cookie recipe that will last you for days and will never taste weird after a couple of days. It's really easy and you probably have all of the ingredients already at home.

Step 1: Wash Your Hands!!!

You better wash your hands before touching any of the ingredients or any materials because it is so important nowadays to wash your hands and stay clean and not touch anything. if you do this, this will help to protect so many lives.

Step 2: Gather Ingredients!

The ingredients you will need to make the chocolate chip cookies are:

~1 stick butter

~1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (T) sugar

~1/4 cup 2 tablespoons (T) brown sugar

~1/2 teaspoons (t) vanilla extract

~1 large egg

~1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

~1/2 teaspoon (t) baking soda

~1/4 teaspoon (t) salt

~1 cup chocolate chips (any type; regular, semi-sweet, white, dark)

Step 3: Gather Materials!!

The materials you will need for the chocolate chip cookies are:

~a whisk or an electric hand mixer (either one works the same)

~a spoon

~a large bowl

~a medium bowl

~a small bowl

~a cookie tray

~things to measure out items, measuring cups/spoons

Step 4: In a Medium Bowl...

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place foil on two cookie sheets. In a medium bowl, add flour, add baking soda, and add salt. Whisk/mix together and set aside for later.

Step 5: In a Large Bowl...

In a large bowl, add soften butter (leave the butter out for 15-20 minutes or literally melt your butter for 5-7 seconds), add regular white sugar, and add brown sugar. Cream together both butter and sugars using the back of a wooden spoon or an electric hand mixer (either one works great). Then add vanilla.

Step 6: In a Small Bowl...

In a small bowl, crack egg then add it to the large bowl because sometimes you can have like a red looking dye to them in it, so it is important to crack the egg separately so it doesn't ruin the dry ingredient mixture. (and yes this is necessary, to take precaution.) Then mix ingredients well.

Step 7: Add It All Together

Gradually (into thirds) beat the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture. Mix well. Then add chocolate chips and whatever else you want like chopped up almonds, walnuts, raisins, sprinkles, etc.

Step 8: Put the Cookies Onto the Sheets

Drop a spoonful of chocolate chip cookie batter onto the cookie sheets. Make about 12-17 cookies. Sometimes you can have more or fewer cookies, no need to worry. Put in oven and bake for 9-11 minutes.

Step 9: Cool Down

After taking out the cookies it should be a light golden brown. Now just let the cookies cool down.

Step 10: Enjoy!!!

Now decorate the cookies to your desiring, put it on a fancy plate, or like stack them into a cone shape or just put them on any random plate and just enjoy them. You could share with your family or just keep them all for yourself.
