Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies! (Flourless, Gluten Free, GF, Nut Butter)

Introduction: Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies! (Flourless, Gluten Free, GF, Nut Butter)

Here's an easy, one bowl, "naturally" gluten free (no flour) recipe for chocolate chocolate chip cookies. These are a great gluten free cookie because they require no flour substitutes! The recipe uses any nut butter, I've used almond and peanut butter, both were delicious!

Step 1: Mix Everything Up

Mix in a bowl:

1 egg

1 C any nut butter (I've used almond butter and peanut butter, both are delicious!)

1/2 C brown sugar

1/4 C coco powder

1 t baking soda

1/2 t salt

1 C chocolate chips

Step 2: Put Cookies on a Sheet and Bake!

The cookie dough will have a sandy play dough texture, so you can use your hands to press the cookies together and flat onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

Then bake at 350F for about 15 minutes, until the edges are set. They are a little delicate when they first come out of the oven, so I let them set up on the sheet for about 5 minutes before sliding them onto a cooling rack.

You're done, enjoy!

Do these cookies taste like peanut butter? I don't like peanut butter flavored cookies, cakes, etc.

Yes, they taste like peanutbutter when you use peanutbutter. You could use a different nut butter, I've used almond quite a few times and it's really good. I think sunflower butter might have the most "neutral" taste, maybe someone else can chime in on that.
