Introduction: Chocolate Coffee Cup
Who doesn't like an occasional cup of hot chocolate? Or maybe coffee? But what about them together? Yum! Now take a cup of hot chocolate with coffee and put it in a solid chocolate cup. Even better :)
I'm going to show you just how to put all those flavors together into a "Chocolate Coffee Cup". Believe it or not, it's actually pretty simple and it tastes delicious!

Step 1: You're Going to Need
Let's start with the ingredients! You're going to need:
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 1 packet hot chocolate mix (2 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cream
- a cookie (a type that you like to have with your coffee)
- Chocolate Sprinkles (optional)
And then for utensils, you'll need:
- silicone muffin cup (like these)
- a pan to melt the butter and chocolate
Step 2: Make the Chocolate Cup
Melt the chocolate with the cream over low heat until smooth, then, using the spatula, press the chocolate against the sides of the muffin cup until it is fully covered. Make sure there are no gaps or holes, as these might let the filling drip out a bit.
Step 3: Make the Coffee Filling
Melt butter of a low heat and once melted, add the hot chocolate power and ground coffee, stirring until smooth. There will be a little oily excess, so drain that out. Then let it cool for a few minutes until it won't burn you if you touch it. Take some of it in your hands and work it into a pancake, then place it at the bottom of the chocolate cup. It should be about half an inch thick.
Step 4: Add Your Cookie
Take your cookie and cut it so that it's about the right shape to fit in the chocolate cup. I used a graham cracker, so I had to do quite a bit of cutting before it was the right size. Once it fits, place it on top of the coffee layer, filling in all the gaps with pieces of the cookie that you cut off.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
Take the rest of your melted chocolate and put it over the cookie. Make sure it overs all of it and that it seals the sides. Let it set until hardened, and then peel the silicone muffin cup out from around it.
Next, sprinkle on a little bit of chocolate sprinkles. I used a hazelnut chocolate sprinkles because I used hazelnut coffee, but plain old chocolate sprinkles work good to!
Another thing you might consider using is whipped cream on top and then the sprinkles. If they were going to be served immediately, it would look really nice!
Step 6: Enjoy!
These are super easy to make and they taste amazing! Enjoy!
