Introduction: Classic Blondies

About: Hey y'all! My name is Lydia and I want to share my passion for cooking/baking with everyone!

Blondies, not brownies! In this instructable I'll show you how to make classic blondies. This is a very sweet treat but decadent and delicious at the same time. It might be hard to eat more than a couple because of the richness, but then again they are very good! So if you want to know how to make your own blondies check out the step by step guide below or watch the video tutorial here:

Step 1: Ingredients and Tools

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter (that has been melted but not hot)
  • 1 ½ C Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (at room temp. and slightly beaten)
  • 1 T Vanilla Extract
  • 2C All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 C White Chocolate Chips

Tools

Step 2: Butter and Sugar!

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and line an 8 x 8 inch tin with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl add in your melted butter and brown sugar and whisk until everything together until combined.

Step 3: Whisk Eggs and Add to Mixture

Whisk your eggs gently and add the eggs and vanilla. Then whisk until everything until combined.

Step 4: Add Flour, Chocolate and Mix

Add in the flour and salt and stir everything together, once everything is combined, fold in your white chocolate chips.

Step 5: Place in Tin and Bake

Pour your batter into your tin and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 6: Cut, Cool and Enjoy

Remove the blondies from the oven and cut into fine squares. I removed the edges for a nicer presentation and allow the blondies to cool completely before taking them out of the tin to cut them. Cut blondies and serve. Enjoy!
