About: Welcome to my Instructables channel where I'll share my wacky and unique creations that hopefully others find useful, or better yet, inspire an evolution of even better ideas!

This Instructable is brought to you by a guest author, my oldest daughter....

Hi guys! Today you're going to learn how to make an awesome breakfast sandwich with a unique twist that will seriously upgrade your brunch skills. This sandwich is unique because the fried egg is literally cooked inside the bread of the sandwich. Keep reading to learn more. ;)

Step 1: Gather Supplies

  • Bread (Your choice as long as there's enough space for the egg)
  • Bacon
  • Butter
  • Tomato
  • Eggs
  • Avocado
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Grill Seasoning (Everson's or similar)
  • Hot Sauce (Optional)

Ingredients I forgot to picture:

  • Cheese (Your choice, but we use Swiss)
  • Lime or Lemon Juice

Step 2: Cooking the Bacon

This generally takes a while so I start it first. Set a timer. DO NOT burn your bacon, that would be a tragedy.

Step 3: Prepare the Bread and Egg Combination

First you're going to need to cut a decent size hole in the middle of on slice of bread. If you want egg in both slices, go for it (less carbs lol).

Place the pieces of bread on a buttered pan/griddle on medium/high heat. The egg really doesn't need that long to cook so if you would like particularly toasted bread you can leave the bread to toast for a couple minutes. Don't leave the bread for too long, it will still be toasting as egg cooks, I recommend maybe a minute on both sides.

Next you're gonna crack your egg into the hole of the toast. You can also scramble the eggs before, that works as well. Sprinkle some salt/pepper onto the top of the egg and let it cook. The egg will cook as long as it generally takes to make eggs how you like them (yolk runny or not). I let one side cook until the bottom of the egg is white and then with a spatula I flip it and let it cook for about 5 minutes. The egg probably won't stay completely in the square when you flip it but that's okay, it will still taste good

Step 4: Prepare the Guac

The guac is really up to you as to what you want to put in it. I use an avocado, diced tomatoes, salt & pepper, grill seasoning and a little bit of lime or lemon juice. Mix all that up and we have the perfect guac.

Step 5: Assemble the Sandwich

Well by now all the separate parts should be ready to come together as one beautiful and delectable sandwich.

Let us commence the assembling:

  1. Begin with the bottom piece of bread and apply a generous amount of guacamole. (Drizzle the hot sauce here if you don't want to put it on the top)
  2. Layer a slice or two of the Swiss cheese on top of the guac
  3. Lay the bacon on top of the cheese
  4. Top with the egg toast piece
  5. Drizzle more hot sauce on the top if you want
  6. Cut diagonally into triangles (up to you but I highly recommend it)

Step 6: Admire and Enjoy Your Beautiful Sandwich

This is such a great sandwich I would love all of you to enjoy. It also works as avocado toast so definitely try that if you only have one piece of bread (or would just rather have toast).

While you're here if you would kindly vote for this sandwich in the Sandwich Contest it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and enjoy! ;) Contest Link
