Introduction: Cream Cheese Filled Cupcakes

This is a recipe to make delicious cream cheese- filled chocolate cupcakes. It’s fairly easy and perfect for a delicious snack or any type of gathering.

Ingredients:

One box of chocolate cake mix
(depending on the box), Eggs, Oil, water,

{filling} 8oz (1 cup) of softened cream cheese, ⅓ cup sugar, 1 egg, Dash of salt, ¾ cup of chocolate chips

Tools:

Cupcake tins, paper cupcakes liners, hand mixer, spoons, and spatula.

Step 1:

Follow the instructions on the box and prepare the cake mix.

Step 2:

Line the cupcake tins with paper liners.

Step 3:

Fill each cupcake liner ½ full with the chocolate cake mix.

Step 4:

In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and salt, until smooth.

Step 5:

Stir in the chocolate chips to the cream cheese mixture, until evenly distributed.

Step 6:

Drop 1-2 tsp of the cream cheese mixture into the centre of the pre filled cupcake liners.

Step 7:

Bake according to the directions on the back of the cake mix box. Let cupcakes cool and enjoy! (store refrigerated)
