  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ Tablespoon Paprika

Step 2: Boil Water

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is at a boil, add a generously amount of salt to the water.

Add the pasta to boiling water. Cook pasta until al dente (about 7-8 minutes) or according to package instructions (while it's cooking you can start on the next steps, but keep an eye on it).

Step 4: Work on Sauce

In a different pot, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir the butter and flour over medium heat until the mixture is lightly browned.

Step 5: Add Milk and Season

Add the milk and heavy cream then whisk to remove any lumps. Add the paprika, salt and pepper to your taste, whisk everything together.

Step 6: Cook Sauce

Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble (about 6 minutes).

Step 7: Add Cheese!

Stir in the cheese and whisk until smooth and melted. Turn off the heat.

Step 8: Add Pasta!

The fun part! When the pasta is al dente, drain it and add to the sauce. Stir the pasta into the sauce.
