Introduction: Creamy Mac N Cheese
Have you ever met a person who doesn't like Mac 'N' Cheese? I know that I haven't! Mac 'N' Cheese is one of those comfort foods that always satisfies. It leaves you wanting more, the creamy cheese aways takes it over the top! Also cooking the pasta perfectly helps with the texture and its super easy to make! I want to show you how you can make this classic creamy Mac N Cheese at home with your favorite type of cheese and I know that it would please anyone you're serving it to! Step 1: Ingredients and Tools
Ingredients
- 4 Cups dry Pasta
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose Flour
- 1 ½ Cup Whole Milk
- ½ Cup Heavy Cream
- ½ Tablespoon Paprika
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 Cups Colby Jack Cheese (shredded)
Tools
- Cuisinart Cast Iron Dutch Oven
- Cuisinart Oven Mitts
- Spiral Whisk
- Pyrex Bowl 3 set
- Misc. kitchen utilities
Step 2: Boil Water
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is at a boil, add a generously amount of salt to the water.
Step 3: Cook Pasta
Add the pasta to boiling water. Cook pasta until al dente (about 7-8 minutes) or according to package instructions (while it's cooking you can start on the next steps, but keep an eye on it).
Step 4: Work on Sauce
In a different pot, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir the butter and flour over medium heat until the mixture is lightly browned.
Step 5: Add Milk and Season
Add the milk and heavy cream then whisk to remove any lumps. Add the paprika, salt and pepper to your taste, whisk everything together.
Step 6: Cook Sauce
Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble (about 6 minutes).
Step 7: Add Cheese!
Stir in the cheese and whisk until smooth and melted. Turn off the heat.
Step 8: Add Pasta!
The fun part! When the pasta is al dente, drain it and add to the sauce. Stir the pasta into the sauce.
Step 9: Enjoy!

You really love to cook.... Who eats all this food... Now I got two favorites from your kitchen..Both of which I've yet to try but this on is quick the other is your Cinnamon rolls.. Trust me if I lived next door to you I would be 500 lbs and your favorite gunny pig. I've not seen anything you've post that doesn't look yummy. You got a banana nut bread recipe?

Everything looks perfect, except you left out one step. After mixing in the pasta, bake uncovered in a casserole dish for 30 minutes at 350.

Yeah that works too you can add bread crumbs for even more crunch too.
