Introduction: Creamy Tea Latte Popsicles

I absolutely love cold tea lattes in the summer. This is a fun sweet twist on a beloved beverage. I recommend using a black tea for these popsicles. I used a chai blend

Supplies

  • 2 tea bags
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (or heavy cream that has been sweetened to taste)
  • 1/2 cup milk

Step 1: Steep the Tea

First we will steep the tea. We want to make a concentrated tea for a stronger flavour, so we will only used 1/3 cup of hot water for two tea bags. I steeped my chai tea bags for 3-4 minutes.

Step 2: Combine the Liquids

Mix the concentrated tea with the milk and the sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well blended.

For a less-sweet batch of popsicles, you can replace the sweetened condensed milk with heavy cream. Add sugar to taste.

Step 3: Fill the Mould

Pour the mixture into your popsicle moulds. Allow the popsicles to set in the freezer for 4 hours or until completely solid.

This recipe will fill four moulds that hold around 1/3 of liquid each

Step 4: Enjoy Your Deliciously Chilly Treat

Gently remove your popsicles from the moulds. It can be helpful to run the plastic under warm water for a minute or to release the popsicles from their confines.
