Introduction: Crescent Crab Rangoons

This is very simple and very delicious dish. It needs several minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:
6 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

14 crab stick

4 green onions

16 oz. tube crescent roll dough

salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg yolk

Step 1:

Chop crab sticks and onion.

Step 2:

Mix crabmeat, cream cheese, mayonnaise and green onion in a small bowl. Add pepper and salt, to taste. combine well.

Step 3:

Make 24 squares from crescent dough. Drop crab mixture by spoon on each square.

Step 4:

Roll opposite corner of dough over roll. Press to seal. Beat egg yolk and glaze dough.

Step 5:

Spray cookie sheet with cookind spray, place crescent rangoons on it. Bake at 175 C (375F) degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Serve warm.

    Okay so I have a quick question for clarification.

    Is this made with crescent dough or puff pastry?

    This is a significant difference here in the US (not sure where you are from).
    Puff Pastry is a laminated dough and would flake as shown in the pictures.
    Crescent dough like that sold by pillsbury is not the same as the croissant dough sold by Sara Lee.

    I am not nitpicking, I was just confused and wondering how you got all the layers with crescent dough.

    Why are the crab sticks or meat not listed in the ingredients? How much do you need?
