Introduction: Crispy Chicken Pitas

About: I enjoy building things and being creative.
This instrucable will go over how to make my delicious crispy chicken pitas. With wild rice and fresh steamed veggies on the side.

The steps and ingedients are on their own seperate pages, you can mix and match as you see fit!

If you plan on making this exact meal, I suggest you start the rice first, as it takes the longest to cook. Then start the veggies (give the carrots a 10 min head start) and finally the pitas (they cook very fast)

This meal takes around 1 hour to prepare and will feed 3-4 people.

Step 2: The Sauce

Tthis sauce is spectacular! goes amazingly well with these pitas!

1/4 cup mayo
1 tbs of warshteshire sauce
1 tsp of basil
1/2 lemon juiced
salt and pepper to taste
1 garlic clove minced

mix well

enjoy!

Step 3: Steamed Veggies

You can use your choice of vegetables, I chose to go with...

Fresh ingredients

carrots
green beans
zuccini
squash
butter
rosemary and chive
water
lemon

prep

Add water to large pot and add the steamer
cook carrots on medium heat for 5-10 min
add the rest of the veggies, lemon juice, rosemary, chives and butter
steam for 20-25 min or until fully cooked

Step 4: The Wild Rice and Toppings

Wild rice is my favorite!

1C  rice
2C water

rice is simple, in a medium pot  add rice and cook in twice as much water on low heat until water is gone, stir occasionally.
I like to add a little vinigar to my rice, adds good flavor.

Cheese, tomato, sauce or hot sauce all go well with this meal. try something new and let me know what tastes good on it to you!
