Introduction: Crock Pot Carrot Cardamom Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a perfect breakfast. How about using different

flavors to make your oatmeal more exciting? You can make use of your crock Pot to make a delicious breakfast overnight. Crock Pot is a life saver if you are not an early bird and you need to rush for work.

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients:

Preparation Time – 10 min

Cooking Time – 8 Hours


½ Cup steel cut oats

2 cups coconut milk

1 cup carrot

1 tsp cardamom

1 tbsp sugar

Garnish – Grated carrot

1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

Step 2: Grate Carrot

Grate the carrot or chop the carrot into small pieces.

Step 3: Mix

Brush the Crock Pot base with some oil.

Now add the grated carrot, oats, cinnamon and vanilla essence. You can replace sugar with honey.

Step 4: Cook

Cook on low for overnight (8 hours).

In the morning your breakfast oatmeal is ready. Stir in the sugar. Give a stir to make the consistency uniform.

Transfer it into a serving bowl. Garnish with carrots or nuts as you like.
