Introduction: DIY Rubber Eraser

About: I was born in Canada. My hobbies include engineering and music. Sometimes I love teaching my knowledge, so that is why I joined Instructables.

Today I will show you how to create a simple rubber eraser!

Supplies

1 plastic block

A few rubber bands

Step 1: Wind Rubber Bands

Wind a rubber band around the top and bottom of the block.

Step 2: Make a Grip

Now wind another rubber band around the narrow side of the block. This is your grip, but also, to keep the rubber band in place.

Step 3: Done!

Now, try using your eraser on a paper. It should erase.

Why does it erase?

Normal erasers are made of rubber. The rubber bands are the "rubber" of our eraser.
