Introduction: DIY Switch Adapted Bubble Blower

This project is designed to adapt a bubble blower so that it has switch access.

Supplies

Step 1: Remove Screws

Remove the six screws from the back of the toy. (Note: you will not have to remove any of the screws from the tail)

Step 2: Add Hole

Melt or drill a hole into the very back of the toy to allow enough space for the cables to fit.

Step 3: Cut Cable

Cut the end of the cable. (We will be using the female end for this adaption).

Step 4: Strip Cable

Strip the cable so that there is approx. 4 inches of the red and white cable showing.

Step 5: Strip Cable Again

Strip cable so that the wires from both the red and white cables are showing. (Note: only strip a small portion of the cable)

Step 6: Solder

Add solder to the ends of both the red and white cables.

Step 7: Thread Cable

Thread the cable through the back of the toy. Tie or use a zip tie to prevent the cable from being able to be pulled out.

Step 8: Solder Part 1

Solder one cable to the area shown in the photo.

Step 9: Solder Part 2

Solder the second cable to the area shown in the photo.

Step 10: Reassemble

Reassemble toy.

Step 11: Enjoy

Add switch and enjoy!
