Deadpool Strawberry Filled Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcakes filled with strawberry jam. Decked out with the Deadpool emblem. Red jam will ooze out when they bite into it. How appropriate for Deadpool! Very simple to make for your Deadpool fan.

Step 1: Gather Things Needed

Oreo cookies

Chocolate cupcakes. Yes I used a box cake, don't judge me :)

Buttercream frosting

Red and black food color

Seedless strawberry jam. You could use raspberry just be sure its seedless

White jelly beans

Step 2: Prep the Oreo Cookies

Remove the filling from the Oreo. Put it aside for snacking later!

With a serrated knife, cut the Oreo in half. You will need 2 halves for each cupcake. Some of the Oreos will break during this process. Darn I had to just eat them!

Step 3: Prep Cupcakes for Filling

With a small knife cut a hole into the center of your cupcakes. Don't cut all the way thru. Pop out the piece of cupcake you cut out (plug) and put it aside. We will use it!

Step 4: Fill the Cupcakes

Put some of the jam into a piping bag or I just used a baggie and cut off one corner. You can use a piping tip if you want. Fill the hole all the way to the top of the cupcake with jam. Then take the piece of cupcake you cut out and plug the hole with it.

Step 5: Decorate Your Deadpool Cupcakes.

Color a little of the buttercream black. Color the rest bright red. Gel colors work best.

Frost your cupcakes with the red buttercream.

Place one half of an Oreo to one side of the cupcake with the straight edge toward the center of the cupcake. Then place the second half across from it leaving a small gap.

Use a toothpick and put a little black buttercream in the center of each of the Oreo cookie halves. Attach a white jelly bean and you have your completed Deadpool cupcakes.
