Decorative Concrete - Stick-on Voids

This technique uses foam stickers to create voids in the surface of concrete during casting.

The foam stickers are removed after the concrete is set to leave their impression. The stickers I have used in this instructable have glitter on the top, which is transferred to the concrete during the setting process.

Step 1: Things You Will Need

Safety:

• dust mask
• latex gloves

Concrete:

• white cement
• black and blue sand
• black and blue pigment

Other:

• form (disposable cup)
• foam stickers (for voids)
• water
• detergent
• disposable cups
• popsicle sticks
• knife sharpening stone (or other sanding/grinding tools)
