Introduction: Drink Coasters

These are nice drink coaster made from wood with a holder.

Supplies

  • Thin wooden sticks
  • wood (can be different colors or sizes)
  • mineral oil for wood

Step 1:

Making The Holder

  1. Cut wood to desired dimentions
  2. Drill four holes in the corners about halfway through your wood using tape on the drill for a marker
  3. Use wood glue to make sure the wooden sticks stay in the holes

Dimensions of coaster holder (4.5 x 4.5 x 3/4) inches

Step 2:

Making The Coasters

  1. Find pieces of wood that are different colors and glue them together using wood glue
  2. When dry, put the wood through the planer so they are smooth
  3. Then cut wood to dimensions of coasters
  4. Use Mineral oil to make colors pop
