Introduction: Easiest Mug Cakes-- Flour Free

These mug cakes really are the easiest recipes. All you need is a few ingredients and 5 minutes of your time and you have a delicious cake. If you are having trouble finding flour right now, or you can't go to the grocery store because of current events, this is the recipe for you!

Supplies

Method 1--

1 egg

Cocoa powder

Powdered sugar

Method 2--

Nutella

1 egg

(optional)

Hot fudge

Powdered sugar

Vanilla ice cream

Step 1: Method 1-- Get Your Ingredients and Supplies

What you will need is a microwave-safe mug, 1 egg, 1 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (or to taste), and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.

Step 2: Method 1-- Mix

Mix the ingredients in your mug until the batter is smooth and shiny.

Step 3: Method 1-- Microwave

Microwave the batter at full power for about 1 minute, or until the cake rises just above the rim of the mug. It should collapse as soon as it stops microwaving. My microwave is 1000 watts, so it might need more or less cooking time depending on your microwave power.

Step 4: Method 1-- Finish With Your Favorite Toppings

You can top it with whatever you'd like, but I chose to drizzle on some hot fudge and sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.

Step 5: Method 2-- Get Your Ingredients and Supplies

For the next method, you will need a microwave-safe mug, an egg, and 4 tablespoons of Nutella.

Step 6: Method 2-- Mix

Next, mix the egg and Nutella in your mug until it has a smooth brownie batter-like consistency.

Step 7: Method 2-- Microwave

On full power, microwave the batter for about a minute or until the cake rises past the rim of the mug. Like method 1, it should collapse immediately when it is done cooking. My microwave is 1000 watts, so if yours is different you might need to adjust the time.

Step 8: Method 2-- Finish With Your Favorite Toppings

You can top it with whatever you want to, but I used vanilla ice cream and some berries.

After that, you're done! I hope you enjoy the cakes and if you try it, be sure to share a picture, and if you liked this instructable, give it a like! :)
