If you’re looking for an easy air fryer recipe for a dessert or as a delicious treat, these double chocolate muffins are the perfect choice! Not only are they quick and easy to make, but they’re also made with simple ingredients that you may already have in your kitchen.

Me and my daughter had great fun making these delicious air fryer muffins. I’m always looking out for an easy air fryer recipe and any air fryer dessert recipes since getting one last year. plus it means I can use my baking silicone moulds in my air fryer.

Supplies

Here’s what you’ll need to get started: (Makes approx 8)

  • 1 medium egg
  • 75g Greek-style natural yogurt
  • 50ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 75ml vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 100g dark chocolate chips
  • Silicone muffin cases


Tip: Check how many silicone muffin cases fit into your air fryer before using it – you may need to make the muffins in 2 batches.

Step 1:

Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for 5 minutes.

Step 2:

In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg, Greek-style natural yogurt, semi-skimmed milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 3:

Add the caster sugar, self-raising flour, cocoa powder, and pinch of salt into the mixing bowl. Stir the mixture until it forms a smooth batter.

Step 4:

Mix in the dark chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Step 5:

fill each of your silicone muffin cases with the muffin batter.

Step 6:

Place the muffin cases in your air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes or until a cocktail stick comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the muffins.

Step 7:

Remove the muffins from the air fryer basket and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
