Introduction: Easy Breadmaker Chocolate Bread
Bread making can be made easy with breadmakers!
Supplies
1 egg
1/4 cup soften butter
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of warm milk
3 cups of bread flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
one package (one tablespoon) of yeast
Step 1: How to Aquire a Bread Maker
Go to your local goodwill store and buy a bread maker. Price can range from 6-12 dollars. Every time me and my dad go to a goodwill, their is always a bread maker. I like to think bread makers were the fidget spinners of the 90's lol.
Step 2: Wet Ingredients
Make sure you clean your bread maker out and pour your wet ingredients in first, the order of wet ingredients doesn't matter. NOTE: make sure your milk is warm/room temp or it will kill the yeast.
Step 3: Dry Ingredients
Pour your dry ingredients in BUT POUR THE YEAST IN LAST. You want to make a little pocket in your dry ingredients by pressing your tablespoon into it to the flour and then pour your yeast into it.
Step 4: Cooking Time and Settings
Select the "white" setting and for 3 hours, select light crust and 2 pounds. The time might very by what bread maker you have but follow the recommended time on your bread maker.
Step 5: Things to Make Note Of
Things to be noted of:
- there are no preservitives so it will go stale fast
- most bread makers have "time delaying" where you can delay the time so it will finish to when you have dinner or when you want it
- most bread makers come with a manual and ours came with a recipe book so it might come with one
- the type of flour makes a big difference, we use King Arthur Un-bleached
