Introduction: Easy and Simple Ceviche

Ceviche is an easy and simple snack/appetizer that anyone can cook at home. It is a healthy yet delicious meal that'll take you about 10-15 minutes to prepare.

Supplies

Ingredients:

You can add more or less to any of these ingredients to your liking.

  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 tomato (deseed)
  • 1 lb. shrimp (any size you want)
  • 1 avocado
  • Optional: parsley

  • Corn tortilla chips or tostadas

Step 1: Prepare Shrimp

Boil and cut up your shrimp to bite sizes.

Step 2: Diced Vegetables

Chop up your vegetables to bite sizes. This includes your sweet onion, red onion, tomato, cucumber, and avocado.

Step 3: Mix It All Together

Add all of your chopped vegetables and shrimp into a bowl.

Add 1 lime juice, avocado oil, and salt and pepper to taste.

Mix it all together and enjoy!

Step 4: Chips to Dip

For this option, you can use any store-bought tortilla chips you'd like, corn tostadas, or you can bake your own homemade chips.

Step 5: Homemade Corn Tortilla Chips

  1. Get your corn tortillas.
  2. Put a tiny bit of avocado oil and spread it evenly.
  3. Add salt.
  4. Put your tortillas on a baking pan and bake it at 350 for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the tortillas and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy. Enjoy!
