Introduction: Elegant Beaded Necklace Tutorial
Here is a necklace that I created that looks really classy :) Hope you'll be able to follow through the steps.
Step 1:
First, with an arm span of thread I thread in a seed bead and place it at the center of the thread followed by a pearl.
Step 2:
Next, on my left and right threads I thread in 5 seed beads, cross the thread into a bicone, and then thread in a bicone on the left and right thread again, and cross it into a bicone. The arrows will help so you can follow the steps.
Step 3:
On the right thread I have 6 seed beads and on my left thread I have 2 seed beads, a pearl and 2 seed beads. Then cross both threads into a bicone.
Step 4:
Follow the pattern of sliding in the beads until you reach your desired length. At the end of the right thread slide in 15 seed beads and make a loop by bringing the thread back into the bicone.
Insert both threads into the next bicone, seed beads and a pearl until the left thread comes out of the pearl and the right thread comes out of the seed beads.
Step 5:
On your left, thread in a pearl and on your right, thread in 2 pearls. Then cross the threads into the pearl.
Step 6:
Looking at the picture, on my right I have 2 seed beads, a bicone and 2 seed beads. On my left thread I have 2 seed beads then passed the thread into a bicone, and added again 2 seed beads and crossed the threads into a pearl.
Continue the pattern of sliding in the beads until you reach the other end of the necklace.
Step 7:
Once you're done secure the thread and cut off the excess. The pearl and the loop you created will serve as your clasp.
Step 8:
This is another variation I created using white beads. Hope you had fun and was able to follow through the pattern. I have the complete steps on my blog and you can also download a PDF copy at this LINK.

I am unable to find where to load the PDF for this beautiful necklace. I thought it was free but when I get to the DIY site, it has a price of $4.50. Thanks for any advice/help. dolfngirls3@comcast.net

Now that is really fancy! I love how it's just continuous weaving. I hate when you have to cute and start again some place. Very, very nice :D
