Emergency Candle

This instructable will teach you how to make an emergency candle suitable for any occasion

Step 1: Materials

Here is a list of what you will need: -candle/wax -candle wick/string -double boiler -plate -match book -scissors -altoid tin (or other small container)

Step 2: Melting the Wax

Cut the wax into small pieces and place them onto the plate. Heat the double boiler for about a minute, and put the wax into the double boiler.

Step 3: Making the Candle

Wait until the wax is completely melted and pour it into the altoid tin. Place the wick into the candle and let the wax harden

Step 4: The Lid

Take the match book and place it into the lid of the altoid tin. If you use a match box you may want to cut off the striker panel and glue it into the lid

Step 5: The Finished Product

After the wax has hardened and the matches are ready, you now have an emergency candle ready to light at any time.
