Introduction: Energy Bars

These energy bars are perfect for breakfast a snack or a dessert after dinner and your whole family will love them, or you can keep them for yourself.

Supplies

First you will want to gather your materials 1 cup sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup corn syrup 6 cups of Rice Chex cereal or Chex Mix cereal one teaspoon of vanilla and these next few are up to you one cup of ground Yucca root and taro root, that is just what I am using but you can use your favorite source of protein. First, you need to take your 6 cups of Chex Mix and your ground Yucca root and taro root and mix them together and put in a 9 by 13 pan.

Step 1: The Mix in Chex Mix

First, you need to take your 6 cups of Chex Mix and your ground Yucca root and taro root and mix them together and put in a 9 by 13 pan.

Step 2: Mix the Syrup

For the next step, you need to boil your corn syrup and your sugar be careful not to burn it because these can burn easily then add your peanut butter and vanilla. Slowly mix it until it is liquidy.

Step 3: The Final Part

Then pour your mixture in the pan on top of your Chex Mix then leave to cool until it is cool.

Now it is ready to enjoy!
