Expandable Spiral Origami Cube is an addictive and fun way to discover basic engineering. We have made 5 cubes, but you can add as many as you want.

Supplies

Origami Paper

Colored paper cut down to 5 7/8"

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

8 pieces will make 5 cubes, but you can add as many as you want.

Step 2: Fold Paper Corner to Corner

Step 3: Fold Inwards

Step 4: Fold Inwards to Make a Rectangle

Step 5: Fold Some More

Step 6: Now Your Fold Should Look Like a Square With Two Pointed Ends

Step 7: Fold and Make More

Step 8: Combine to Folded Pieces Together to Make a Square

Step 9: Make More and Glue Them Together

Step 10: Let Dry Flat. Once Dry, Twist to Open.
