Introduction: Fabric Pumpkin Decorations

Want to have some cute fall decorations, but don't want to spend a ton of money? This is a perfect solution! It is cute, simple, and great to do with children!

Supplies

Sewing needles
Thread
Fake leaves
Small stick from the woods
Fall Fabric
Fabric Scissors
Poly-fill stuffing
Beads or small rocks or dried beans
Pen or pencil
Plate or something round to use as a template

Step 1:

Get your fabric and put your plate on it. Trace the plate with your pen or pencil.

Step 2:

Cut out the circle of fabric.

Step 3:

Sew the rim of the fabric circle, about 1/4 of an inch into the circle.

Step 4:

Pull the thread tight so that it is almost all the way closed. Then, pour in your beads(or pebbles or dried beans).

Step 5:

Stuff the poly-fill into the circle of fabric that you just added beads to. Once you are satisfied with how stuffed it is, pull the thread tight.

Step 6:

Add the "stem" (stick) and secure with some hot glue (or just cram it right down into the gap). Decorate it with the leaves and other items to make it look as pretty as you want. (You can also glue these things on if you want.)
