Introduction: Fortune Teller
How to make a basic paper fortune teller.
Step 1: Materials
- Paper
- 3-4 different colored markers
- Pen
- Scissors
Step 2:
Fold one corner so it lines up with the side of the paper.
Step 3:
Cut off the rectangle on the right with a pair of scissors.
Step 4:
You will end up with this square piece of paper.
Step 5:
Fold the square piece of paper in half.
Step 6:
Open the square piece of paper then fold it in half the other way.
Step 7:
Open the paper and lay it flat; step 5 and step 6 should have made the folds where the arrow are pointing.
Step 8:
Fold one corner into the middle of the paper.
Step 9:
Fold the other three corners into the middle and it should end up looking like this.
Step 10:
Flip the piece of paper over.
Step 11:
Fold one corner into the middle of the paper.
Step 12:
Fold the other three corners into the middle and it should end up looking like this.
Step 13:
You can now label each of the eight sections whatever you want; I just used numbers.
Step 14:
Inside of each corner you can put two things that you want your fortune teller to tell you. For example, I wanted my fortune teller to tell me which animal I act like the most. So I put eight different animals inside the corners.
Step 15:
Flip the paper over and you can use four different colors to put on each flap.
Step 16:
Fold the paper in half so the colored portion is outside.
Step 17:
Open the paper then fold it in half the other way so the colored portion is still outside.
Step 18:
This is what your finished fortune teller should look like.
