Introduction: Functional Lego Technic Spider-Man Web Shooter V2

About: I am a homeschooler, and I like to build with Legos. I also like to experiment with my ideas during my free time.

This is the version 2 of my Spider-Man Web Shooter. It works, looks, feels better than the first, and it actually shoots web! I'm sure you will enjoy making this instructable! Just follow the picture instructions, read the notes, and you'll be fine!

Step 1: Firing the Web Shooter

Step 2: The Pieces Needed

These are all the pieces you need to make this instructable. Remember, the pieces don't have to be the exact color, they just need to be the same shape. The white thread needs to be at least over three feet long, you'll also need two rubber bands.

This wrist protector keeps the rubber bands used to hold the shooter on from pinching your wrist.

Step 44:

Step 45:

Step 46:

The wrist protector should look like this when you're finished.

Step 47: Rubber Bands

Two rubber bands are needed to hold the web shooter on.

Step 48:

Step 49: Mounting the Web Shooter

Lift the rubber bands on your wrist up, and slide the shooter underneath them as pictured above.

Step 50: Wrist Protector

Once the shooter is on, slide the wrist protector under the rubber bands that are on top of your wrist as pictured above. (the red tip should be facing towards your fingers)

Step 51: Wrapping Spool

When wrapping the thread it is the easiest to have your arm facing up with the spool facing you. Snugly wrap the white thread around the spool till the projectile hangs 2-3 inches underneath the throwing arm.

Step 52: Placing Projectile

Place the projectile in the throwing "fingers".

Step 53: Loosening Thread

When the projectile is in place, pull the thread forwards on the spool so that it is very loose.

(this will help it come off much better)

Step 54: Thwip!

The shooter should be ready to fire! Push down on the palm pad to fire. Pushing quickly by bending your wrist works best.
