Glass Etching - Cheap Method

This is a simple and inexpensive method for etching glass.

Step 1:

The materials that you need are a piece of glass, a box and quartz sand. First you must protect the back side of the glass, cover it with tape!

Step 2:

You can use templates. Stick the templates on the front side of the glass.

Step 3:

Drill holes in the box and fasten the glass to the bottom of the box using a thread (inside of the box)

Step 4:

Put the quartz sand in to the box and start shaking the box very hard!

Step 5:

After 30 minutes of shaking or more get out the glass and remove the templates! Your etched glass is finished!
