Introduction: Grate the Cheese With a Soda Can

About: Innovative Projects, Diy's, Life Hacks

This Instructable is more for students and people who don't own many kitchen utensils.

I used to live in a single room. I had a fridge, a microwave and some basic kitchen utensils.

I did not own a grater and due to the limited space, did not want to get unnecessary tools.

One thing I always had in the fridge was cans of soda (ok beer)

I could have used those cans to make an improvised cheese grater.

Step 1:

Empty a soda can and wash it.

Step 2:

Cut off the top with a can opener.

Step 3:

Poke a few holes in the can with a screwdriver or another sharp object.

Then put the screwdriver in those holes and tear them downwards to make the blades.

Step 4:

Now you can grate the cheese with a soda can.

Most of the cheese will stay in the can.
