Introduction: Guilt-Free Dark Chocolate Mousse

Indulge in a rich, decadent dessert, and feel guilt-free!

Serves 4

Step 1: What You Will Need

1 3.5 ounce premium dark chocolate bar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 large egg
2 tablespoons fat-free milk
3/4 cup cool whip lite

Step 2: Chop

Coarsely chop dark chocolate bar.

Step 3: Melt

Combine chocolate, sugar, and butter in a medium saucepan.  Cook over low heat, stirring continually until chocolate is melted.  Remove from heat.

Step 4: Whisk

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.

Step 5: Whisk to Combine

Gradually whisk about half of melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.

Step 6: Whisk and Melt

Add the chocolate-egg mixture back into the saucepan with remaining melted chocolate, stirring constantly.

Step 7: Cook to Thicken

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.

Step 8: Cool

Remove from heat; transfer to a non-metallic bowl and let stand for 45 minutes.

Step 9: Fold

Fold cool whip gently into cooled chocolate mixture until blended.

Step 10: Spoon

Spoon evenly into 4 glasses or cups.  Cover and chill for 2 hours.

Step 11: Serve

Top  each serving with cool whip and berries.  Enjoy!
