Introduction: Gumball Machine Candy Dish

This a great way to display your Halloween candy, And it's a very fun and easy project you can do with your kids.

Step 1: Supply's

Supply's needed:

1 can spray paint

1 can primer

6" clay flower pot

5" clay saucer

Hot glue gun (with glue how else are you going to use a glue gun?)

6" glass bowl

1 Bag Halloween (or any seasonal) candy

Step 2: Prime

I gave the clay pot and saucer 2 coats of ruddy brown primer inside and out, in a well ventilated area. (lay down newspaper if you don't want to make a mess)

Step 3: Paint

After letting the primer thoroughly dry, I sprayed the pot and saucer with 2 coats of bright red. I let them dry overnight in the garage.

Step 4: Assembly

After the pot and saucer had dried overnight I wiped everything down with a soft cloth to remove dust and oils, Flip the flower pot upside down and fill the bottom with hot glue (avoid the hole) and immediately place the glass bowl in the center of the glue and press down. I then flipped the assembly over and squeezed a bit of hot glue into the hole in the bottom of the pot.

Step 5: Finishing Steps

After everything was cooled I flipped the dish over, filled with candy and placed the saucer on top as a lid.
