Step 1: Materials

To make your own Hallow-Ring, you will need:
  • 1 pack of Sugru
  • A package of a rhinestone chain (or whatever you want to decorate it with)
  • A plastic clay roller
  • A clay knife
  • A strong pair of scissors (to cut the rhinestone chain)
  • Saran wrap (to keep the sugru from sticking everywhere)

Be sure to measure how big you want the ring to be (cut a piece of string that is the correct length and measure your string).

Step 2: Open and Roll the Sugru

Cut a piece of saran wrap to cover your work area. Open the packet of sugru and roll it in your hands to form a kind of worm- shape. Place the formed sugru onto the saran wrap.

Step 3: Forming the Ring- Flatten

Fold the saran wrap over the sugru. Use the clay roller to flatten the sugru. Don't worry if it's not flat because the next step is cutting it. Use the clay knife to cut the piece of sugru so it's straight and to the size you want it.

Step 4: Add the Crystals

Using the same measurements as the last step, cut the rhinestone chain to fit onto the piece of sugru you have cut and flattened. Push the chain down until it is secure.

Step 5: Roll the Ring and Finish

Peel off the saran wrap from the ring. Curve the ring up until it forms a circle. Smooth the place where the ends of the ring meet. Let the sugru dry for 24 hours.

You have now make a Hallow-Ring!! Pair it up with your favorite costume and you're sure to be the talk of the neighborhood :)
