Introduction: Halloween Skull

Halloween skull that rotates and turns on LEDs when it detects motion.

Step 1: List of Electronic Parts, Materials and Tools Used in This Project

Materials:

- Skull

- Little Skull

- Cardboard Box

- Wood Box

- Black paint Spray

- Welder

- Tin

- Pair of scissors

Electronic parts:

- Arduino

- Servomotor

- Sensor

- 2 Normal Leds

- 2 Resistors (10000 Ohms)

- 9 Cables Female-to-Male Arduino

- 9 Cables Male-to-Male Arduino

Step 4: How to Build the Project

First of all we made the code for the project using an Arduino UNO board, snd our Laptop, once we have the code, we try it on an external structure, to check if it works.

We bought two empty skulls, the small one for decoration and the big one for the project.

1- First we took the cardboard box and made two holes to put the sensors, then we painted it.

2- Then we took a piece of wood and hooked it to the skull. we did this so that the skull could rotate with the servomotor.

3- We opened the back of the skull, We put two LEDs in the eyes and inserted the wires and the Arduino UNO..

4- We have painted the wooden box black and used it as a support for the project.

5- We have glued with silicone the cardboard box with the wooden box and the skull with the servo glued to the cardboard box.

6- Finally we have sealed the back of the skull with silicone.

Step 5: Conclusion

To conclude our work, we wanted to end with an overall evaluation of the project. It is a project which touches on the topic of electrical prototyping using Arduino code.In doing this project we have used LEDS, a servomotor and an ultrasonic sensor and we had to generate a code according to what we wanted to build.

Thanks to this project we have experienced the great utility that can be given to the theme of Arduino. Generating this prototype we have acquired a lot of knowledge and being a practical work and not theoretical and you have to be touching the electrical part, you understand perfectly how everything works and it is easier to see the program that you generate.

Being a project focused on Halloween and that we had to give an atmosphere of terror to the prototype we have laughed a lot and we liked it a lot. Apart from doing it with enthusiasm we have learned a lot.
