Last week i restored my 1st ever claw hammer , it seemed only right i make a tool holder for it.

Nice and easy couple of bit of scrap wood and your done.

Step 1: Layout & Cut

First i found some scrap wood that was long enough to make all the pieces, next i cut it down to size and cut a top and bottom piece that would hold the hammer in place.

Step 2: Plane & Shape

I planed it all square and flat and but an angle on the corner just to make it look a bit nicer.

Step 3: Glue

Now onto the glue up, pretty simple just glued the top and bottom pieces into place making sure i had a really tight bond.

Step 4: Finish & Job Done

Spray lacquer and a couple of screws - job done.

I told you it was simple.

But it also works a treat and doesn't take up to much space which for me is crucial !
