Introduction: Handmade Wedding Invitations

I wanted a wedding invitation that reflected my style and didn't have the "typical" wedding look. One that gave you the feel of our fall ranch wedding and reflected our color palette. After researching for what seemed like days about things I liked and didn't like about invitations I came up with a design that would be simple and unique. One that could be easily replicated once scanned into the computer, as well as easily assembled once printed. (*Not featured in the images...Guests will find a hand drawn map to our venue site as well as information on how to RSVP on our wedding website, which will also host any and all important information for our event)

The invitations were originally hand drawn with pen and colored pencil by myself. They were then scanned into the computer and put into a paint program (Corel Painter Essentials 4) that allowed me to adjust and edit the colors to make them smoother and more vibrant. I then saved the image as a jpeg and inserted it into pages where I could type up all the lettering. I originally had hand wrote everything in fancy writing but it didn't come through on the scanner like I had hoped so I went to plan B. My amazing fiancé then figured out how to print them so everything lined up and there were no white boarders. Now to just assemble them all...
