Introduction: Homemade Apple Crumble

Today, I am going to show you how to bake an Apple Crumble. I have always loved sweets, I mean who doesn't? This is a fantastic, quick, easy, and fun thing to bake. The outcome is awesome and WORTH IT! This Apple Crumble will be warm and ready to eat in about an hour and a half. Then cuddle up on the sofa with a plate of Apple Crumble and ice cream and watch your favorite show, for me Stranger Things or F-R-I-E-N-D-S

Step 1: Things You Will Need!

You will need a couple things:

  • 6-7 medium apples peeled and chopped (you can leave the peel on if you'd like)
  • 3 Tbsp of white granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. of ground cinnamon, divide that into two parts
  • 1 to 3 tsp. of lemon juice or water
  • 1 cup of brown sugar (Doesn't matter which kind)
  • 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup of old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1/2 cup of room temperature cubed unsalted butter

Tools

  • An apple peeler (note:You do not need this, I just had it)
  • 2 large bowls
  • A knife
  • A stirring stick
  • 8x11 pan
  • A fork or your hands work
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring Tsp and Tbsp

Step 2: Let's Get Started!

The first thing you are going to do, is preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Wash your apples and then peel and core them. After you have done that take a knife and chop the apple up. You can make them any size you want, I preferably do thinner slices. Then take the 1 tsp of cinnamon and the granulated sugar and pour them over the apples. Then take your spoon and mix them together. After you have done that, clear the space for the next step!

Step 3: Let's Mix in the Other Ingredients

Now all you should have left is the brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, flour, and oats. In a bowl combine the brown sugar, the other 1 tsp of cinnamon, flour, and oats. Then mix that around until fully and well blended. After that is done you can add the butter, when you add the butter use a crushing tool that will mix the butter and the other ingredients together. I personally, used my hands which was quick and easy.

Step 4: Put Them Together!

You are almost done! Now you are going to butter the pan and put the apples in. Once you have spread the apples out evenly sprinkle the mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, flour, and oats evenly over the apples. Now you just pop it in the oven, I cooked mine for 48 minutes, but between 45-50 minutes should work.

Step 5: Done!

You finished, GREAT JOB! Now go sit down and eat it all. :)
