Introduction: Homemade Banana Nut Bread

In this instructable I will show you how to make Banana Bread. This banana bread that is made with very little stevia sugar is an easy recipe to make and enjoy with your coffee. I like to make this banana bread because it's been a recipe that my mom has been making for a long time and it is what she would give us in the morning to brighten up our day or when we were feeling down, she took out the banana bread and gave it to us with hot chocolate or coffee. Here are the steps for you to make this banana bread to enjoy during your day.

Step 1: Step 1: Ingredients/Tools

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup of softened butter
  • ⅛ cup stevia sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas (about 4 bananas)
  • 1 ½ cup nuts Pam

Tools:

  • Big Mixing Bowl
  • Oven
  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • 9x5 Loaf
  • pan
  • Whisk
  • Potato Masher
  • Nut crusher

Step 2: Step 2: Prepare

Make sure to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F or 175 Degrees C. Lightly grease your loaf pan with Pam so that the bread does not stick and makes it easier for you to remove.

Step 3: Step 3: Mash Bananas

In the mixing bowl put the bananas and mash them with the potato masher until they are completely mashed and there are no big clumps. After this, you move onto the next step.

Step 4: Step 4: Add Eggs

Add the eggs to the bowl and whisk them until it is blended.

Step 5: Step 5: Add the Rest of the Ingredients

Add the flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and butter. After this mix all the ingredients up until the batter is moist and there are no big clumps.

Step 6: Step 6: Add Nuts

Crush the nuts into little pieces and add the nuts to the moist batter and ready. Mix the nuts in so they are spread out all through the batter.

Step 7: Step 7: Pour Into Pan/bake

When the batter is ready, pour the batter into the loaf pan. Once it is evenly spreaded in the pan, put it in the oven to bake for 60 minutes. Use a toothpick to check if it is ready by seeing how clean the toothpick is. Once the toothpick is clean, the bread is ready to come out. Let it cool a bit so that it does not break and once it cools down, take it out of the pan and be ready to enjoy it.
