Introduction: Homemade Golden Hot Dog Buns

The steps below is to share to you how to make Hot Dog Buns / Sausages Buns at home. HAVE FUN! :)

Supplies

Ingredients

1) Dough Bread flour (250g)

2) Salt (2g)

3) Caster sugar (30g)

4) Instant dry yeast (5g)

5) Unsalted butter (40g)

6) Egg (40g) (x1)

7) Milk (100g)

Others

8) Cocktail sausages/ sausages (180g)

9) Sesame seeds(Optional) (4g)

10) Water (1 teaspoon)

11) Whole egg (Beaten) (x1)

Step 1: The Dough

Mix the dough ingredients together and knead it until the dough is able to stretch thinly without tearing apart. You can also put all the ingredients into a stirring machine to help you mix. This portion can make around 15 hot dogs buns.

Step 2: Small Dough

Cut the dough to the size you want (not too big) and roll it into a ball and put it on a cutting board. Use a cling wrap and cover it and leave it for 15minutes.

Step 3: Long Strip of the Dough

Take off the cling wrap. Take each dough that you have cut and kneaded them into a long strip.

Step 4: The Dough and the Hot Dog

Take the long strip of dough and roll on the Hot dog. Try to roll the end and the top of the dough the same way when rolling on the Hot dog.

Step 5: Layer on Top of the Hot Dog Buns

Take an egg and add one teaspoon of water in it and mix it. When the egg is done, use a brush to apply them on top of the Hot dog buns.

Step 6: Baking Place

Put a piece of baking paper on the baking tray so that at the bottom of the Hot dog buns will not turn out to be burnt. Then, put the Hot dog that is rolled with the dough on the baking tray. Put each Hot dog buns 2 inches apart from each other.

Step 7: Temperature and Time of the Oven

Next, preheat your oven for 10 minutes at the temperature 150 degrees. When it is done, put the tray into the oven. Set the temperature of the oven to 180 degrees and the time to 15 mins.

Step 8: Done!

Finally, take it out and let it cool down, and there you have the Hot Dog Bun. Enjoy! <3
