Hi Everybody,

This instructable is about enriching your lips into healthy chap free lips, its damn easy to prepare Lip Butter, you may use lot of cosmetics in day to add more beauty to your beauty, but not all are chemical free they maybe shiny & eye catching of course everybody use it , but at the end of the day you have to restore back the smooth and softness of lips from dryness, cracks caused by it. There comes this awesome healer made with natural ingredients.

Step 1: Ingredients

If you want more glossy then add little more oil (1/2 tsp) and if you want a creamier texture then add little more shea butter(1/2 tsp) if you are fond of chocolate you can add cocoa butter too

1) Beeswax - 1 Tbsp

2) Shea butter - 1 Tbsp

3) Coconut oil - 1 Tbsp

4) Rose powder - 1 Tsp

5) Rose Essential Oil - 3 drops

6) Calamine powder with zinc oxide - 1/8 tsp

7) Vitamin E oil - 1 Tablet

Step 2: Make Your Own Rose Powder

If you are buying rose powder you can skip this step.

Select fresh and heaven smelling roses from market that can used in beauty products (not all roses can do that) Here I used a variety called Paneer rose which are very famous for its uses in beauty products. In fact its edible too. Bought it, sun dried it by keeping in medium sun light for two days, covered with white cloth. As my country is very sunny, didn't wanna burn the roses.

They ready if they break when you press in your hands, i.e., it will be crisp

Put in blender and grind them well. until nice powder.

Filter out the nice powder and residue

You can use the residue as face pack or in your customised soap too

Why rose powder?

It nourish, soften and lighten your lips naturally

You can use beetroot powder also

Step 3: Base Ingredients

Add beeswax, Shea butter and coconut oil. These are the base ingredients of lip butter you can customise the ingredient quantity to get the texture you want glossy or creamer or just between them. My ingredients quantity gives just between them texture.

Step 4: Melt & Combine

Melt it using double boiler method, since my quantity is less, I have kept in small glass container and place in medium hot water and stir using spatula to combine all together. Once done remove from heat.

(Optional) Insert the spoon and check for the texture

Tip: Try using vessel with beak, easy for pouring

Step 5: Magic Ingredients

Add your rose powder (or beet root powder) this will give little tint to your lip butter with extra benefits so that a bonus, Poke the vitamin E tablet and add the oil and rose essential oil. Adding Calamine zinc oxide powder will protect your lips from sun. oh yeah !! Its SPF

Mix them well and pour into Empty lip balm tubes. Its little tricky to pour correctly first time, you may use dropper for that. My outcomes gave 3 full lip balm tubes

Step 6: Try It

This is the colour i got and I liked it. You try your suitable shade by adding or decreasing the rose powder. What are you waiting for !!! its time your flaunt your smooth,silky lips to others by using lip butter. Of course its pocket size, you carry every where you go and put the Glam on!!
