Introduction: Homemade "Uncrustables"

About: I love making things and simple electronics!
As you probably know, kids typically don't like the crust on the sandwiches and you can find school trash cans filled with the crust that the kids throw out.  This sandwich eliminates kids throwing out crust because the sandwich simply has no crust!  These sandwiches are super simple to make and the size of the sandwich can be changed if you have a bigger cookie cutter.  Also, the sandwich can be peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and fluff, or even just peanut butter.

Here is a link to the real product:

I was inspired to make these because....

- My friend always has the prepackaged Uncrustables that cost more than they really should
- My little brother doesn't like sandwich crust
- I thought it would be fun to make!

You should make this because...

They are quick and cheap to make.
- They will please your kids.
- They are delicious!

I hope you enjoy making your very own Uncrustables!

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need...

2 slices of bread
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- A round cookie cutter
- A butter knife
- A plate to serve it on

Step 2: Making the Sandwich

To make this the most like a regular Uncrustable, spread the peanut butter on the bottom slice of bread.  Make sure it is spread evenly and make sure there aren't any globs of peanut butter.  Do the same with the jelly on top of the peanut butter and try to make it even as well.  Put the other slice of bread on top of the first one and the sandwich is complete!

Step 3: Making the Uncrustable

Press the cookie cutter into the middle of the sandwich.  Make sure you press the cookie cutter and don't turn it because if it is turned, it will mess up the edges of the Uncrustable.  Take out the circle that you just cut and place it on the plate you wish to serve it on.

Slowly and being careful not to wrip the bread, squeeze the edges of the sandwich so you seal the contents inside of the bread.  If you want to make it look even more like an Uncrustable, sqeeze the edges so it forms a wavy pattern.  My cookie cutter already made a wavy pattern so it wasn't hard for me!

Step 4: Enjoy!

Congratulations, you are done preparing an Uncrustable!  Don't torture your kids by giving them crust, make them these delicious, crustless, irresistable Uncrustable sandwiches!
