Introduction: How to Cover Acne

About: Simple instructions for simple makeup. If you want to see me do a certain look or tutorial, please don't be afraid of dropping me a comment or a message! I'm always looking for new things to try out.

Acne is all around horrible. It hurts, it's ugly, and it can really bring your self esteem down.

Here, I'll be showing you how to cover it right up with just a few simple products!

NOTE: Using simple makeup to cover acne will cover color and/or redness, but it will NOT cover the fact that the blemish is raised. Covering color is easy and it makes the blemish blend in with the skin.

Step 1: Things You'll Need

Get your hands on:

-a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer (I'm using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream)
-a full coverage cream concealer (this is optional, but I'm using NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer)
-a liquid concealer (I'm using Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer)
-any kind of powder (I'm using Mary Kay Sheer Pressed Mineral Powder)

Step 2: Prep the Blemish

Using your ring finger, dab your bb cream or tinted moisturizer over your blemish to create a smooth surface. If you want, you can also use an eyeshadow primer, but I'm using something tinted for a little more coverage.

Step 3: Covering Up

If you want, put some cream concealer on the blemish. Cream concealers usually have a lot of coverage, but not everyone has them. Use your ring finger to blend, using dabbing, not sweeping, motions.

Step 4: Just a Little More

Put a dot of liquid concealer on the blemish, and use your ring finger to blend it all in. Make sure you don't use too much, as it will look cakey. A little goes a long way.

Step 5: Sealing It Up

Set it with powder, and you're done!
