Introduction: How to Build Stacking Stencils (indexed)

About: I am a teacher who enjoys environmentally responsible woodworking. Most evenings will find me in the shop working with my now 8 year old son Shay who is both my greatest helper and biggest fan.

Ever want to stencil something in more than one layer? I know I did. We had the idea of creating souvenirs for our off-road tour company by up-cycling some book covers I got out of the trash. Doing this meant that I needed a way to quickly and accurately create multiples of the finished product.

By building a jig and a few indexed stencils the finial product has a much more professional look, saves you time and lowers the cost of creating multiples.
