Introduction: How to Make Banana Pudding From Scratch
Ingredients

3 c sugar
· 1 c all-purpose flour
· 6 c whole milk
· 1 tsp salt
· 6 egg yolks
· 1 tsp vanilla
· 1 stick unsalted butter
· 10-13 bananas
· 2 boxes of Nilla Wafers
Step 1:
In a 9x13 baking pan put a layer of bananas then a layer of nilla wafers, repeat till you reach the top
Step 2:
Separate the egg yolks and beat together, set aside for later
Step 3:
In a large sauce pan, mix flour, sugar, butter, salt and milk turn on heat to high-medium
Step 4:
Stir together all the ingredients in step 3 until it is mixed well and the mixture is hot
Step 5:
Get the egg yolks and temper them with the mixture ( put 4-5 tablespoons of the mixture into the egg yolks and stir)
Step 6:
Pour the egg mixture into the sauce pan
Step 7:
Add the vanilla
Step 8:
Constantly stir the mixture until it becomes thick
Step 9:
Pour the mixture over the prepared bananas and wafers
Step 10:
You can serve warm or chill in the fridge for 2 hours
