This is my favorite type of paper airplane! I've had the most success with this model and I thought I would share it with you today! All you will need is a sheet of paper.

Step 1: Find the Middle and Fold It!

Lay your paper out flat in front of you for this step and make sure you can see it clearly. The middle can easily be found by folding the paper in half long ways and making sure the corners and edges line up. Go ahead and do that, then unfold it.

Step 2: Make the Nose

Now time to form the nose. Take the top right corner then fold it over so the top edge is just barely touching the center crease. Do the same for the left corner.

Now we will do this again. We will get longer, skinnier triangles this time. Fold the right corner so it is again, just barely touching the center crease. Do the same for the left corner.

Step 3: Making Your Wings

Now that your nose is made, go ahead and fold your plane in half along the middle crease that we made in the first step.

Now have one side facing you and your plane laying flat in front of you. Now take only one wing in your hands and we want to fold it parallel with the bottom of the plane, and go past the bottom by 1 - 2 centimeters. This will give it more lift but not make it too wobbly. Repeat this on the other side.

Once you have completed it on both sides, fold them out at 90 degree angles. You can add a small piece of tape to the top over the crack in the middle to help hold your plane together, but keep in mind you want to keep it light and not unevenly weighted.

Step 4: Have Fun!

Now your plane is done and it is ready to fly! Practice throwing it for a bit just to get the feel of your new plane and how to throw it perfectly. Then you can challenge your friends, family to paper airplane contests, or just have fun seeing how far they can go, from how high you can fly them, and watch all the cool flips they make!
