HELLO! Today, I'm going to teach you how to make origami paper. After you're done learning how to make origami paper, you will be ready for making origami! It's really simple!!!

Step 1: Materials:

In order to make origami paper, you will need some materials. Here are some materials:

Ruler
Pencil (NO PEN)
Paper
Scissors

You can also use copy paper. The reason not to use pen is because if you accidently make a mistake, you can erase it and it also doesn't matter if it's really grey.

Step 2: Start With Paper

Well, you need paper! You have 2 choices. You can either get regular paper that is used in the printer or you can just rip out paper from your notebook.

As you can see, I just ripped out some paper from my journal.

Once you're done, you can move on to the next step!

Step 3: Rule the Paper With the Ruler!

Now, just use the ruler to make the mark. First, line up the ruler towards the side of the paper using inches, then make a mark! And make sure to have a 1 foot ruler!!!

Line the ruler on the side of your paper and make a mark on where the endpoint is. Then, turn the ruler horizontally to make the same mark on the same inch.

Step 4: Connect and Cut!

Once you made the two marks, just connect them and cut! Make sure the marks are equidistance. Use your scissors to cut along the line you made.
